Merry meet! I have been a member of the Church since 1994, and found my first nest, Our Lady of the Lakes (OLOTL), in Minneapolis in 1995. I became a Scion in 1999 at Freedom Gathering, held on Iacchus' land in Wisconsin. Maerian makes a truly lovely Priest, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I was swift to remark that it was nice to do "gender-flex" instead of "genuflect" in the Church of All Worlds, having come from a very flexible, feminist Roman Catholic household.
For a brief time near the beginning of my time in the Church, Cougar and I worked together to try to create a self-sustaining, life-affirming, gestalt-o-rama community, and to that end we had a list called The Pond. That dream, however, was not to be, and our paths diverged.
I have been a member of the Internest since shortly after Grow Closer 1998, when I saw a lot of really neat people connecting in really beautiful ways and discovered that their initial connection was the internet. It was through this online community that I finally began to get connected to the larger CAW community. I am presently the List Critter.
In August of 2000, I tearfully left Minneapolis and OLOTL to further pursue my dream of community, and to live with my sweeties, Bill and Marie. Since that time, we were rejoined by our beloved Jackson in March.
