I live in Cleveland, OH. The PO box is actually in the town where I grew up and principly work.

I'm involved in lots of things, it seems. I've been a member of the Chameleon Club for almost 15 years. We're the folks that put on the Starwood and Winterstar festivals. I teach physics at several colleges in the Cleveland area. I own my own home with my primary partner, Connie. I mostly attend "holiday" rites with Stone Creed Grove of ADF. I'm loosely involved with three different UU groups. I've also been involved with various aspects of green/progressive politics throughout the years. I'm not actually active in this way right now.

Because I am a teacher I get summers to spend at festivals. I go to an average of 4-5 festivals a season in addition to being a seasonal camper at Brushwood Foklore Center (where Starwood is held).

Since becoming a scion in July 1999, much has deepened for me as far as spiritual growth and visions. I am on the "Earth Stewardship" track. I'm still fourth circle and at this time am not in a big hurry to move inward. I suspect that I will move to fifth at some time in the future ... waiting is. I tend to be slow and deliberate about some kinds of things.

Within the last year I have been increasing my connections with the Mother in a big way. I am seeing that I want to change the direction of my life to do her work. Part of this vision is to begin doing healing rites focused on the Earth itself. My shrine to the Mother is at Brushwood and is dedicated to her healing. I can't really see where the path of Earh healing will lead. I believe the next step for me may be to learn more of the science of the ecosystems, to do research. I have a PhD in a science, I should use my knowledge of science to do her work. One thing that is clear is that we need more science of how the envirionment works. It's also important for me to keep focused on the enviornment as a spiritual issue. I'm coming to believe that science is what will ultimately save us all.

Within the CAW, I do a few things. I am co-chair of the Eerie Erie Scions. I am running for MAL I have also been instrumental in getting a regular CAW presence at Starwood. For many years I made sure that there were always CAW clergy on the program there. My path in Earth healing was originally inspired by a long conversation with Anodea Judith back in the '80s. It is one that fits well into the Earth Stewardship track. Except for the Internest, I don't currently belong to a nest.
