Scions are members who have taken on more service to the Church.
This might mean forming or running a local Nest, tithing, serving on committees or projects, attending CAW meetings, taking on organizing or reporting tasks or helping to run festivals or events. There are always things that need to be done and the Scions have the skills to do them! In addition, Scions are expected to continue their magical training, read more books from the bibliography, continue contact with Mother Nature and become familiar with CAW's literature, history, and internal structure... All in their spare time.
The Regional Scion Councils exist to support the Scions, to "create and maintain a central advisory body for the Church wherein a forum will exist to air General Membership input upon policy issues; also to serve in this capacity to the Board of Directors, Clergy Council or Other Church Bodies as deemed appropriate; also to serve as peer review, support and networking Councils to facilitate quality control of Scion involvement at the Regional, Nest and organizational levels."
