It is both the ethical philosophy and the stated policy of CAW to operate with the highest level of transparency and integrity possible, both among our members and among the community outside of our church. As such, we have generally made the minutes of our public meetings, such as our Board of Directors meeting and Annual General Membership meetings, available to the public on this web site.
It has, however, been brought to the attention of this WebSpinner that some of the versions of CAW Minutes submitted to this web site disclosed confidential personal information which we did not have permission to publish outside of CAW. In some cases this information, such as the connection of magickal names with legal names and the publication of legal names to the web without the permission of the owner, are areas where CAW makes a commitment to our members of confidentiality. In consideration of that commitment to confidentiality, those documents have been TEMPORARILY removed from this web site for review, and a proposal has been submitted to the Board of Directors to review our current policy, and to approve a solution which might allow us to make our documents available to the public while also remaining in integrity with our members.
If your personal information was inadvertently made available to the general public through this practice, I offer my sincerest apologies and make a commitment to do everything in my power to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, both for now and in the future. If you are a member and require a copy of any of the past minutes, please email me directly at admin@caw.org and I will forward copies to you as soon as practically possible. If you are a non-member and would like to request official documents, please also email me, and I will respond to your request appropriately.
Finally, I wish to make clear that this interim solution is of my devising, and as I was unable to consult anyone else before taking this action, I bear sole responsibility for this temporary solution until the BoD is able to make a decision. ~ Cat Deville, Reorganization Projects Administrator and honorary WebSpinner.
